DOG DAYS OF SUMMER!? Not us! Join us in the puppy love round-up by purchasing a stuffed puppy, love and bless it for a few weeks, then drop it off at a local children’s organization.

GAME NIGHT – Saturday, August 13 and September 10. Pot luck 4 – 5 pm, bring a dish to share.

5 – 7 pm Cards, dice, board games, pitch, OR whatever?!

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER – Join us in prayer wherever you are on Thursday, September 8^th. This year’s theme is TOGETHER WE SHINE. If you are in the neighborhood, drop off your prayer request before August 15.. If not, contact Silent Unity (1-800-NOW-PRAY) or www.unity.org

Fall Programs are shaping up –

o OCTOBER: We begin our fall activities by conducting an Animal Blessing for all our fur (or fin/scale/whatever) friends. Time and date tba.

o NOVEMBER:

§ Is dedicated to Friendship Month.

§ A highlight will be a concert on Wednesday, Nov. 9^th, 7 pm – Teri Wilder, well-known spiritual songster of the mid-west will grace us with her gift of music.

o DECEMBER

§ Sunday, Dec. 4^th, 10 am Sunday Celebration, Guest presenter, Rev. Toni Boehm, talk title: Living Waters followed by a light lunch and workshop, The Journey of the Soul’s Evolution.

§ Rev. Toni is an inspirational and dynamic speaker, author, and poet.

§ She was the Vice President of Education at Unity Village

§ She is a certified spiritual coach and Peacemaker ® facilitator.
